Designed by Grant Chappelle for Stonegate by AFX, this pendant explores the edge between aggression and elegance. Angular planes intersect in a dynamic composition that reveals both positive and negative space, creating a visual rhythm that feels in motion even when still.
The fixture’s layered geometry captures a storm-like energy—raw, expressive, and architectural. Light escapes through fractured openings, casting dramatic shadows and emphasizing the interplay between concealment and exposure. Despite its sharp, almost chaotic presence, Tempest remains rooted in balance, inviting the viewer to find beauty in disruption.
